TBTThe Business TherapistCONCEPT · INTRODUCTION
Understand the business in context before defining an appropriate intervention.
An owner may describe falling sales, seek expansion, or request specific training. Each is a legitimate starting point, but none alone determines what the business needs.
TBT’s view of Business Therapy connects understanding, diagnosis, professional judgment, intervention, and review of outcomes. It includes development, prevention, and transformation as well as problems.
We hear the story first, then structure what has been shared and examine context, relationships, and alternatives. Determining causes and interventions remains a human professional responsibility, rather than an automatic result of a category or score.
The next step may involve consultation, study, development, capability building, or follow-up. More information may be needed before recommending an intervention.
When a team requests sales training, we respect the request while exploring what needs to change and whether building the team’s capabilities through training is the decisive factor in that context.
An introductory formulation based on TBT’s approved architecture and WORK experience principles. This page does not report an empirical study or evidence for a particular intervention’s effectiveness.
This explains TBT’s professional approach. It is not a diagnosis of an individual business or a guarantee of intervention outcomes.
These references identify the basis of the wording and the relevant source sections. Citation alone does not establish empirical effectiveness of a method or intervention.
